Mengkuang Dam is the biggest dam in Malaysia located in Penang main land, at Kampung Mengkuang Seberang Perai. Now, it has been renovated and will be open in 2018. At Mengkuang Dam, it is suitable for people to jogging, cycling and picnic as well. The most interesting is, we can feed the fish in the dam......and also the view is very pulchritudinous.....
Bertam Vision Park is one of the interesting park for picnic in the Penang Main Land..... At the Bertam Vision Park, you can also riding the swan at the lake.... Most of the people bring their family to here for picnic and also bring scrumptious food at here.... Besides that, there are many stalls at here but the stalls are located before you enter the vision park.....Predominantly, many people buy "Pisang Chocolate Cheese" at here.
1. PENANG BIRD PARK
Penang Bird Park is the first and largest bird park in Malaysia. Established in 1988, the RM1.2 million complex is home to over 300 species of birds which 150 are local origin ranging from kingfishers and tiny exotic sunbirds to vulturine guineafowl and huge, gigantic eight ft-tall ostriches. Located in Sebersng Jaya, within the beautifully-landscaped, five acre- Penang Bird Park are two walk-in-aviaries and two geodesic-domed enclosures, resembling the birds' natural habitat. This allows for free roaming pelicans, flamingos, swans. storks and mandarin ducks and other kinds of birds.
